Tree Houses, Eco Lodges and Cave Houses

The Nature Resort in Kerala offers Treehouses, Eco-lodges and Cave-Houses at Kalladi in Wayanad, Kerala. A unique opportunity to enjoy the nature in most pristine way.

A totally dedicated Eco-lodge, Cave-House and ethnic houses built on trees with all basic facilities.

Access to the TreeHouse (60 feet above from the ground level) by an indigenous cane lift is worked by a unique counter weight of water.

Double beds with an attached bathroom with flushing toilette, telephone shower, wash basin with running water, carpeted veranda and sit-out. The House is made of Eco-friendly materials.

Food is prepared from fruits and vegetables grown in the organic farm without any chemical fertilizers or pesticides.

Houseboats - Backwaters of Kerala

We offer backwater cruise holiday packages on Kettuvallam (Rice Boats) for a comfortable cruise in the canals.

These house boats are known for its unique design use of local material like bamboo poles, coconut finer ropes, bamboo mats, carpets etc. With their languid grace and quaint design, these boats adds another dimension to your cruise in the shimmering blue waters.

These boats have single room, double room, triple room configuration with, sun deck and private balcony with comfortable chairs.

The rooms are fully furnished with attached bathrooms with shower, wash basin and flushing WC with tiled floor.

Each boat has a fully equipped kitchen and an experienced cook to prepare authentic Kerala cuisine with sea food specialties and fresh vegetables.

• The Houseboat is plying between Kollam and Cochin and the check-in point is decided according to the number of nights and the availability of our boat. Normally the check-in point may be Alleppey or Thottappally or Ayiramthengu or Panmana.

Tiger Trail - Periyar, Kerala

In 1978 Periyar was declared on Tiger Reserve under project tiger with 350 sq. km core zone, 427 sq. km buffer zone and 50 sq. km tourism zone.  About 5 lakhs of tourists visit Periyar Tiger Reserve every year.

To minimize the impact on the eco system only a maximum number of 20 people will be allowed to participate in the Tiger trail Programme every week. And only five visitors are allowed at a time.

The Programmes are one night / two days and two nights / three days. The camping sites are ideally located near water sources. The safety of the visitors are of highest importance hence all the trekking groups are accompanied by armed forest guards with communication facilities and are geared to face any emergency situation.

• The Tiger Trail starts at 8 AM, every day, the guest may arrive either early in the morning, or may have to stay in a hotel in Thekkady the day before the programme. We pick the guests from the hotel, where they are staying and can transfer to the departure point of the trek.

Please note: In all the above three programmes, the accommodation is provided on fullboard basis. We serve traditional Kerala cuisine. Sea Food is also served in Houseboat and TreeHouse.  But in Periyar Tiger Trail, only vegetarian food will be provided.
